The perfect fit is crucial for comfort and a natural look. Use this guide to find your ideal wig size and hair extension length.
How to Measure Your Head Circumference
Accurate measurements ensure the best fit. You’ll need a soft measuring tape. If you don’t have one, use a string and then measure it with a ruler.
- Head Circumference: Measure your head circumference along the hairline, starting from the center of your forehead, over your ear, around the back of your neck, behind the other ear, and back to the starting point. This is the most important measurement for determining your wig size.
- From the Forehead to the Nape of the Neck: Measure from your hairline in the center of your forehead, across the part, to the nape of your neck where the hairline ends. Make sure the measuring tape follows the curve of your head.
- From ear to ear (across the forehead): Measure from the top of one ear, across the hairline on the forehead, to the top of the other ear. Start and end where the hairline begins above each ear.
- Nape of the neck: Measure across the nape of the neck from behind one ear to behind the other ear. Hold the measuring tape straight along the hairline.
